Clever strat, but it's not as effective as you think. If you rush it to your base location (the one you picked is great but not required now you can just build ore station). Build Vixy farm there and just catch all PALs around you in the time you have gotten the money/gun/ammo you would most likely be around lvl20-30 looking for Jourmuntide Ignis egg. Especially that trek to Fisherman Vilage on foot without mount is just an overkill. You can just grab it when you get a fly mount and farm the gold for a gun if you really feel you need it.

There’s a base peace that allows you to turn off pals abilities. So you can have a crazy good logger and turn off its transport ability

How did you get the stairs to attach to the structure? in my game it refuses to attach or even turn green, no snap-to unless I build up from the edge of the foundation which is not what I'm trying to do.

this doesnt work as well anymore! for once it now takes two lightning strikes to break ore nodes (ad the cool down is slow), and i only got around 300 sulphur. have you maybe tweaked the drop rate?

I have played for a couple weeks now and what I have noticed is a real lack of starting base areas.Then we have the second and third bases are just more or less specific bases also lacking in space to do more than just a specific thing.They ruined the game world with all these officers and forts that are taking up often good flat areas that could be good starting base areas. Furthermore being 6 months later than the majority of early videos I can say the dev really cheaped out rehashing the same creatures and skills over and over just reskinning them. Then there are some nice free areas but they lack trees or lack ores and sometiems even lack rock so just a real lack of good quality base areas which is compunded on a multiplayer server.

Seems like the markateer method for money is patched, cant place a pal box down says its too close to a boss or major place

Its kinda a bummer that stuff like this has been invalidated. Like I get it, they made ore farms for everything but quartz (obviously next) and crude oil, because they want people to explore the other things they added rather than rotating between bases for resources but there was a kind of charm to it. The sense of accomplishment and completion was just a bit better in my opinion. You still have the breeding lotto but yeah. I didnt much mind that. Maybe its because I organically found some of the best locations for each ore and seeing people make videos about them shortly after gave me such a validating feeling. Who know? 😅

there was 1 tiny critisizm i was getting while playing this and i wanted to let u know. i played a vanilla world mostly , i only added more max units per base bedcause my pc can handle it. other then that i played vanilla. i did everything like you showed you do here and it mostly still all works , even after all those patches latly. the one merchant in the mine does not work anymore , because you cannot build anything there anymore , so also no trap and fire place. but the more important part about all this was. while you stay low level like this and farming money it still takes a lot of time. if instead you only level a BIT ur much faster , by only having little less money. and while your version is doable, watching you video makes it look like "low - level = getting there quickly". And that is not the case. and since you are leveling to Level 15 anyeway you should do it before you go to the fireplace. down the first boss before going there and get chillet. with chillet and 1 item, that being a heat resist armor or ring, both super easy to get, one you simply buy , the other you build, and chillet, you can roam the place down there without having to do all this swim action and stuff ,but instead just ride chillet. this makes the whole journey being less dangerous by far, you can outrun enemies and it only takes you somewhat 4-5 minutes to get there from the fast travel point to the village in the volcano region. your way takes like 15-20 minutes and you may not die or you have to go the whole way over and over again. i just wanted to let you know that , because in general you gave a lot of super helpfull tips and it was a lot of fun doing it this way i have to say.

so from what i can tell the hanging trap and campfire method doesn't work anymore at least in the abandoned mine cave. the game considers that to be too close to a special boss or facility and wont let you build anything. the first one he showed still works tho so theres that

Playing a bit here and there for a while I recommend also getting a Nitewing as soon as possible. Not so much for riding though they are really strong starting combat pals. They have really strong moves and are agile. If not at least being good from beginning to mid game they might even be somewhat viable to end game. Just make sure you are doing your share of the work. Maybe having some Daedreams following your around to add dps to you as well. In the beginning you can't get enough dps it seems like. Just thought I would offer something a little less knowledge dependent and something everyone can aim for early on. There are also some that just won't vibe well with this video because of the mechanic exploiting and going against the "intended" way of playing.

i wanted to say , that there is one thing to keep in mind. There are Vanwyrms a little to the north west on the landway to were the Boss Bushi is starting from the little village. these Birds spawn at L10-12 and are way better then nightwing plus they are the parent animal with anubis to the 2nd best bird in the game , because it is the 2nd fastest and it has melting 3 + transport 3. i would not waste any resources into nitewing , it realy sucks xD

I’m pretty sure they made it so you can’t use the gold farming method on the merchant in the mineshaft. Won’t let me build the trap in there
